  After having an unsatisfactory experience at UCLA Stein Eye Institute, I found Dr.Hamilton on google in my area as I wanted to get a second opinion to my possible options.
  Him and his team answered all my questions and specific concerns from start to finish.
  I appreciate the team’s empathic understanding to my situation and Dr.Hamilton’s expertise. He analyzed my results from UCLA compared to his own eye tests and showed me the up-to-date medical knowledge/data on what would be the best action to take.
  After thorough examination and explanation,
  I decided to proceed with the surgery. The surgery itself was quite fast and I was able to go home same-day. My vision is now 20/20 both eyes as of the post-op exam today.

  I couldn’t recommend Dr. Hamilton enough. I had SMILE surgery about 3 months ago. The surgery itself was quick and painless, and
  I immediately had significantly improved vision. Less than one week later, that stabilized to better-than-“perfect” vision, where it remains so today.
  In addition to clearly being a fantastic surgeon, he truly cares about his patients. I had two questions within the first week of post-op, and he got back to me the same day both times. He has set the bar very high for future doctors for any speciality!

  Had an amazing experience with Dr. Hamilton and his office. They answered all of my questions thoughtfully and explained to me why they recommended SMILE over LASIK. I opted to go with SMILE and had my surgery yesterday. The procedure itself was quick and painless. Took a nap after the procedure like they recommended, and when I woke up, I could already see. After a full night sleep last night, I have no pain or dryness, and I’m already seeing 20:20 which we determined at my post op check today. Could not recommend Dr Hamilton enough. So happy, wish I did this years ago. Thank you Dr. Hamilton.

  I am the type of person that does allll the research before anything and probably even more for this procedure since we’re talking about eyes. I mean we only get two and we don’t wanna mess with them! Needless to say I made the right choice with choosing Dr. Rex Hamilton! He is the absolute best! Very professional, lots of experience with great precision in his hands, has a great attitude and he’s funny!
  I opted for SMILE. The procedure was painless and very quick. My vision was perfect the next day. I literally went to work the next day and I cried on my way when I realized I could see all the stop signs on my street, even the one 3 blocks away.
  Just had my 3 months post-op and my vision is better than perfect still, 20/15. It’s been 3 months and I still can’t get over the fact that I can see so clearly! I literally drive my friends crazy with my enthusiasm about it and I recommend Dr. Hamilton to everyone.

  Dr Hamilton was amazing! I had a lot of anxiety about getting laser eye surgery but after seeing how great an experience both my friend and husband had, I decided to go for it! The whole process was so easy, appointments were on time, friendly front office and staff, and have all the up to date modern technology. The actual smile procedure was incredible, it was so fast, Dr Hamilton talked through it all before and during so I knew what to expect. I knew I was in good hands! Slept through the night after the procedure and could see so clearly when I woke up next morning. I only wish I had done this sooner! Highly recommend Dr Hamilton!

  I am so grateful to Doctor Hamilton, Mayra and his entire staff for providing the absolutely best care to me. I recently did Lasik and it was an incredibly easy process from start to finish. They explain everything very thoroughly and make you feel safe and comfortable. They answered all my questions (and believe me I had many!) Their office is very clean and welcoming.The day of the procedure, while I was nervous, they made me feel at ease, walked me through the process.   SMILE surgery was amazing. Quick and easy procedure. Much faster recovery than I was expecting.The day after the procedure I had perfect vision already.Recovery: I would only get very minimal dryness at the end of a long day that improved with eye drops and resolved over the course of a few weeks.
