Basic monofocal lenses can provide you with clear vision at one distance (near or far), while more advanced lenses like extended depth of focus or multifocal can provide you with a range of vision. In addition, there are also toric lenses available if you suffer from moderate to high levels of astigmatism.

SMILE Eye Surgery

Small Incision Lenticule Extraction, or SMILE, is the latest generation of vision correction surgery. Less intrusive than LASIK and with faster healing and less risk of post-operative dry eye, SMILE vision correction is gearing up to overtake LASIK as the go-to vision correction procedure worldwide. Dr. Rex Hamilton is one of the few SMILE specialists in Los Angeles, and was the first surgeon on the West Coast to perform the procedure.
